Friendly Reminders

Below are a few friendly reminders to help avoid receiving notice of violation, keep your property values up and your community looking beautiful. For a complete list of rules and regulations, please view your Association’s CC&R’s.
o Maintain lush and healthy lawns while keeping your Lot(s) mowed, edged and free of weeds
o Landscape beds free of grass and weeds and vegetation within the landscape beds healthy
o Re-stain/re-paint any faded wooden features on your Lot. This may include doors, shutters, fences, pergolas, arbors, etc.
o Repair any missing or broken fence pickets, panels, or gates
o Keep garbage and/or recycle bins in clean and sanitary condition and appropriately stored out of view when not in use
o Your Lot should be kept free and clear of trash and debris
o Lawn equipment, kiddie pools, coolers, grills, bicycles and other miscellaneous items must be stored out of public view when not in use
o Playground and other recreational equipment must be well maintained
o Temporary basketball goals should be properly secured maintained
o Parking on the street is temporary and not overnight. Continual violator will be towed at the owners expense
Please note, if you will be making any exterior modification(s) to the structure of your home or to your Lot, or are deviating from the existing like kind, material, color and/or design when maintaining the external structure of your home, an ACC must be submitted and written approval must first be received prior to the project commencing. Should you any have questions regarding the ACC process, you may submit an online inquiry through your Association’s website via the web submission feature or via e-mail at acc@essexhoa.com. It may take up to thirty (30) days to receive approval, so please plan accordingly.
